I'm getting a late start blogging tonight. We had a play date with Mrs. Dees' kids this afternoon. Harrison had so much fun !! We cant wait for our kids to be at Roberts!! I also got caught up on some of my favorite shows...Grays Anatomy and The Practice.
Caleb shared some neat gourds from his grandpa. He used his 5 senses to describe them. Great job Caleb!




He passed them around for the class to explore.




Today we worked so hard on writing. Matthew did a great job stretching the word..round.








Aiden stretched the word small.




John David stretched the word orange. I love seeing them use their strategies!!!!




The finished product! We sang our pumpkin song and created our own list of adjectives.




Here was the math word problem prompt.
After independent work, 2 kids shared their strategies.








I shared my pen with the class during whole group writing. Look what they did!!!
















Toooo-dah! They did this all by themselves. Excellent teamwork!! It says...Pumpkins are big. Pumpkins have seeds.




John David did an excellent job during independent writing. He wrote....Pumpkins have stems.
