We had a fun filled Veteran's Day at school! We learned lots and took a picture to honor our American Heroes.

Andrew did awesome solving the word problem during chit chat.

We segmented and blended -ag words.

We deposited a turkey to show 11 on the ten frames.

We got to skype with our Georgia friends this morning. A few shared their turkeys in disguise. We also saw theirs too!

We love to READ and frame words during small groups.

Griffin did awesome in the writing center. He found words around the room that started with these letters!

Vaishavi did a great job labeling Thanksgiving foods. Look at all those beginning, middle and ending sounds!!

We made an anchor chart of things we are thankful for..so sweet!

We then made a list and illustrated things/people we are thankful for. Their writing continues to progress. It's so important they are transferring beginning, middle and ending sounds.

I'm so proud of these wiring samples!!

We did a subtraction word problem during math. These kids did great! I love seeing them write math equations.

FYI...please help out with this great cause! Thanks!
