Week 2

Griffin was a GREAT King today! He used lots of big words to describe his Lego item and even did a demonstration. :)

He also shared his violin trophy! We want a concert!! Good job Griffin! We learned so much about you.

Saanvi did great filling in the missing number during chit chat.

The next set of slides show our focus from shared reading this morning. We concentrated on reading from left to right and identifying color words. We pointed to each word and sang a song about reading from left to right. These kids LOVE Pete the Cat!! Me too!!

We reviewed more procedures today. They are getting the hang of it!!

After we learned the color word red, we completed an assessment. They did great using glue and scissors!!

We started counting collections
Today. This is such a neat concept that builds one-to-one counting skills. We practiced rules and procedures today.

Each child got their math journal. They will use this to record their collection and math word problems.

Olivia showed us how to get the assigned box.

We practiced sitting EEKK. Elbow to Elbow, Knee to Knee. Everyone is partnered up and ready to count objects in their box.

Good JOb!!

Thanks Londyn for the class donation!! More money towards our mini iPad purchase!! Woohoo!!!!

This picture is adorbs!! I'm still trying to tell who is who!! :) I love each one of my kids so much! They bring me lots of joy! Thank you for sharing them with me. :)
