Alouette. Cooperation is this months character word.
Kayden was all about it!
My kids know all their letters and sounds, so we've been working on vowels and vowel pairs. Today we focused on the vowel pair "ee."
Addison found "ee" on the blends chart in queen. Chunking and blending is such an important strategy when decoding a tricky word. I'm always telling them to look for the parts you know.
Mrs. M. Cunningham's class did a Reader's Theater to The Three Billy Goats Gruff for my class this morning. It was FAB-U-LOUS! My kids loved it! Thanks!
Matthew was on fire today during reading group!
We did a super cute project during math using rods and units. They used rods and units to create the first letter in their name. They did awesome!!
They worked super hard! The prompt was:
The first letter of _________'s name is worth.........
______ tens and ______ ones. This is the number ______.
Lilly was the first one finished because she didn't have to cut apart units. Awesome job!!
These turned out so cute!!
During math assessment time, the kids went to centers. I love this picture of Jahanvi and Kayden! I love, LoVE my precious class!!!
