Mrs. Twinkle is in the House!!!!!

Let the fun begin!!! Im dying to know what your child told you about our elf!!

Before the kids walked in the room, I told them I was running late for school and had not been in the classroom.....I turned on the lights and right away they spotted her.

She was sitting at the top of our fun and fabulous Christmas tree!!!!! She told us that she wanted a name so we voted and we named her......?????

Our elf wouldn't be complete without a couture skirt from Santa! What's next....a pair of Jimmy Choos and Louis Vuitton bag? :)

We brainstormed a list of names and voted. After narrowing it down to 4, we voted again....Introducing-----------Miss Twinkle!!!!!!!! Such a fun and jazzy name!!!

Miss Twinkle brought the kids a treat all the way from the North Pole!

Gracie told Mrs. Twinkle what she wanted for Christmas! WOW!! She has a really long list!!! :)

Ananya and Jamaya measured various objects using snap cubes. First they estimated and then measured to find the actual length.

Kylie and Amogh stamped words that end with -ed.

Ridge, Mia, and Kayden worked on sight words.

Jahanvi and Matthew took turns reading to each other.

Remily did a fabulous job reading to self. This girl loves to read!!!!!

-
Lilly and Owen labeled a gingerbread man during work on writing.

Owen loves to make lists!! Me too!!

Addison quietly read a book during The Daily 5.

Awesome job reading group!!

Amogh "high fived" this weeks sight words. I love this strategy!! Kids have to "high five" the words each time before they go to the bathroom.

We continued measurement this week focusing on weight. During partner games, we sorted pictures into 2 groups-heavy or light.

Remily did great sorting heavy and light pictures in her math journal.

Jahanvi was the music star today! Yay!

I'm so proud of Addison and Ridge! They received November's character award.

We made these Santa's last Friday. ADORBS!!!!

Cuteness!!

We watched Elf on the Shelf the last 20 minutes of class. Thanks for sharing Ms. Edwards!

Upcoming events!

Mrs. Diggs, Kindergarten para pro, gave each K teacher a Christmas happy!! Sooo sweet!! I love her!
