Awesome Adjectives!

Miss Twinkle sure looked comfy this morning! Apparently she got into the hug your heart candy jar! The kids thought this was soooo hilarious! My favorite quote....Miss Twinkle got her ears pierced!! :)




We focused on adjectives today during writer's workshop. First, the kids ate a gingerbread cookie.

Each child wrote down an adjective to describe their gingerbread cookie.




I love inventive spelling!!! Try decoding Remily's word....awesome!! Look at all those sounds! Awesome job Remily!

Sugary!-----We talked about the vowel pair "ee" today. Ananya got it!! She definitely pulled all of her sounds!!! Sh---oo----gr-----ee-----y!!!! Love it!!!!!

Last, we put our adjectives on our class gingerbread man. Thanks Mrs. Strom for drawing us one!!!!




During writing group, we did tree maps about their gingerbread men/women. I CAN'T WAIT for the REVEAL Party tomorrow on the blog. I'm sooo proud and ready to roll out the red carpet for these gingerbread men and women!!!

Caleb loves all the different versions of the Gingerbread Man. We're comparing characters, setting, and plot.
