We had a terrific Tuesday in room 105! We focused on the letter "n" and reviewed the sight word and. We worked on fluency with these simple sentences. This is a great way to build concepts about print skills and get our kids reading! I love how these sentences include a picture. I loved seeing my kids pointing to each word and getting their mouth ready. :)

It's hard to see, but my class rocked this mini lesson! I'm starting to see a lot of beginning, middle and ending sounds.

These kiddos did great in reading group!!

These 2 boys worked hard in word work. They had to hole punch all the N's. This is a great letter id activity and also promotes fine motor skills kinders so desperately still need. :)

Good job Lola!

Belle did great writing the room, searching for N words. :)

Joel used the star writer's checklist during writing! Good job!

Emma did great counting, showing and writing the number 5. We decomposed the number 5 by showing 5 tally marks, 5 frame, 5 stars and the number word 5. That's a lot!!!

Mrs. Emily, Cole's mom, volunteered to read Go, Dog, Go before our field trip! This got the kids so excited!

My kids were great listeners!

The kids love Mrs. Bonds! She's doing great in our room. We love her!

Thanks LB for more treasure box toys!!!! The kids got super excited!

Belle's mom made another bow. The girls are excited!

Asha was so sweet to bring apple flavored play-doh! It smelled so good! She also lost a tooth!

How cute are these boys?? Friends forever!!!

Emma wore a very special dress today. Her grandparents brought it back to her from Uganda. We found Uganda on a globe and map. The kids were so impressed!!

Avalea said it best!!! We had a fabulous day in K!!!!!
