Day 3

Day 3 in Room 105 was great!! Avalea was the queen! She LOVED this role and was such a big helper!

We got our books bags for reading groups! Everyone received an ABC chart for fluency during familiar reading.









We practiced saying the letters and sounds.










These 2 books are probably my most FAV!! My kids LOVE singing along too.










After we read both books, we generated a story about our favorite color of shoes. We did this whole group and I "shared" my pen with the students. They did great! Look at Belle using spaces between her words! You go girl!!!!










Finished product! Great work!!










We went back to our seats and wrote our first journal entry.











We use the ABC as a reference during independent journal writing.










Great job! I've got some early writers! Yay!




























Of course we learned another procedure! Nicholas helped us learn about take home cubbies.










These first day of school pics turned out beyond adorbs!!!!!
