We made a vocabulary anchor chart to use as a resource.
During word work, we created a 3 column list of words that end with -ate, -eat, and -at! These kids are almost ready for 1st grade!! I'm so proud to see them blending and segmenting words! We worked so hard on short and long vowel sounds, vowel pairs, and silent e!
We continued our seed study today by brainstorming a list of foods, etc. that come from seeds.
Writing was so fun today. They had to pick 4 things we eat that come from seeds. Awesome job Amogh!
We had some some special visitors today from another K class. Natalie is so precious and such an amazing writer!! She wrote...My favorite food from the garden is watermelon. Mine too!! :)
