During "chit chat" we edited the mix it up sentence. Then Addison wrote all the corrections below it. Fabulous!!
During writing group, we wrote about things we love.
These turned out so sweet! Y'all are going to love their responses.
Kayden did so good on his word problem!
Mattie shared her math strategies. She discovered that you don't have to draw 10 skittles in each bag, but use a rod and use the number to represent it. Then she showed us that she counted by 10's instead of 1's. I was in shock!! :)
During writer's workshop, we wrote a "how to" make a heart piece.
We did all the steps before we shared the pen.
I didn't pick the pen up once. They did this all by themselves!!!!
Remily wrote the last step. Great job!
We displayed it in the hall.
I caught Matthew doing an excellent job reading this morning. This boy loves to read!!!
I sent home a confirmation note for conferences in your child's folder. I'm looking forward to sharing your child's progress. :)
I will be out a few hours in the morning. Harrison is getting a 2nd round of tubes. Please remind your child to use good behavior. :)
