Election Day 2012!!!

Today Kindergarten had a mini mock election!! My students voted on who would be the best president! For the past few days, I've read the stories titled "Grace for President, Duck for President, and My Teacher for President." We based our voting upon these characters in the story. They folded their ballot and placed it in the ballot box. I think their favorite part was the "I Voted" sticker from Mrs. Diggs.
Mrs. Geurin counted all the votes (approx 160) :) and the winner was.......Grace for President!!!!

We had a great day! We had a lot of fun voting and learning about the election. Don't forget tomorrow is Jersey Day for the Jersey Shore. Bring your donations and wear your jersey. Any jersey will be fine.....football, soccer, baseball, basketball, etc.
