Wow! This week has flown by! I can't believe it's almost Thursday. We have covered a lot of material this week and still had fun!
These 2 cuties were so excited to show off their missing teeth! It seems like they are all falling out now.
Joel did great highlighting the capital letters in the days of the week. We have worked hard on proper nouns this week.
Wow! I am so proud of Austin! He did great writing the days of the week using a capital letter!
During shared writing we focused on capitalization and mechanics.
I love to watch them write! I marvel at their growth in such short time.
Lola Belle did a great job writing this weeks spelling words. They are excited about our first spelling test on Friday.
We continued our Ireland study. We learned a lot about this gorgeous country.

They were most impressed with kissing the Blarney Stone! I actually got to do this when I was in high school.

All my kids said they were going to the SPD parade this weekend! What a fun outing!
During word study we made words within a mystery word. They rocked this assignment. We separated the vowels and consonants and this really helped them organize their thoughts. We started with 2 letter words, then 3 and finally a 4! I love seeing them blend and segment words.
These children did fantastic during reading group! This class loves to read!!!
Nicholas found "sh" in his book and Avalea found "th"!
