SPD was a blast today! The sneaky little green man left coins in our seats before school.

-

This turned out so precious and I can't wait for you to see the finished product. This activity involved following directions and shapes. We followed the directions step by step.

Each one is so unique.

We had a yummy SPD snack!
It was healthy and yummy!!

We learned about 2d shapes during math. We focused on sides and vertices.

The kids cut the shapes out all by themselves.

We counted the sides and vertices for each shape.

Thank you Annalise Chan for the Scentos!!!! I'm obsessed with them!! Can you tell?

Thank you Olivia for the all green "happy"!! I love it!

Addison brought a leprechaun trap for the classroom. Hopefully we'll catch that sneaky little man tonight!! :)

This pic is just precious!!

These readers were on fire today!

Double cuteness!

St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays in K. I don't know why, it's just fun and their imaginations run wild! They were in awe of the green river in Chicago.

During writer's workshop, we made a tree map about leprechauns. We will take this to our journals tomorrow.

We played a fun partner game in math. They had to match the teen numbers to the teen ten frames.

I hope my kids did great reading their fluency folder at home!! This is such great practice for beginning readers.

I got pics of these kids practicing at home! Love it! Makes this teacher's heart swell!!

This pic made my night too! Olivia built a leprechaun trap at home! She's destined to catch that sneaky thing now!!

My kids are loving March Morning Work. This is a great way to assess literacy and math skills that have been taught.

Conner brought a gift to share with the class. His parents brought it all the way back from Guatemala!!

His demonstration was great!

We did more words within words.

Love my little learners!

-Great job girls! Look at all these words!!
