We had a super fun and fabulous day! We learned words that end with -ap!




Keithan came up with 3 words! Awesome!




Ethan brought me a cute little pumpkin today. Pumpkins are my absolute favorite thing! They make me smile. We sang a fun pumpkin song. We brainstormed a list of adjectives that described out special class pumpkin.




These kids wrote an adjective on a post-it and we added it to the song.








A round one, a small one, a orange one, a smooth one.




We learned the sight word--see! Have your child sing you the song!








Peyton did a great job stamping "-ap" words.




John did great in the writing center.




Vaishavi knows -ap words in a snap! She did great "getting her mouth" ready!




Keithan did great making numbers using bears.
This was the highlight of our day!!! It was the grand opening of the Roberts Retro Cafe! We were the very first class to eat there! It was fabulous!!

Last Friday I got a super sweet happy from Griffin and my co-worker, Mrs. Glover! I love DC!!

Happy Thursday! We sang a fun song about counting by 2's!






Emily was the student teacher today. She pushed the weather button and it took us to weather.com.




We talked about the temperature and wind.





These kids worked super hard during reading group.




Annalise did an outstanding job in the stamp center. She read, stamped, traced, wrote and drew -at words.

Conner brought his "special" friend to share with the class. So sweet!




I surprised the kids at lunch today!




The Kindergarten teachers ate lunch in the new fun and fabulous Roberts Retro Cafe!!





Check out the fabulousness!! It's such a privilege to dine in the cafe! The quietest class in the dining room will be announced the following day during the morning announcements. We have worked so hard on dining room rules and procedures. Let's win this!!!! It starts next Monday!

We made this super cute apple tree craft during math.




Olivia brought cute puppets for the class to use in the reading center. These cuties put on a little "play" for the class.




I added this to our classroom door today. My sweet mom made it for me last year. Isn't it major fab?

Hi Everyone! Well this is a sad post! My camera app on my phone crashed today! After an hour long phone conversation with Apple Care, I was advised to take my phone to the Apple Store. Long story short, I got a free new phone that's way better and faster! Thank goodness I backed it up on iCloud. But...I didn't get any pics from today. We did a lot of great things and I hate you can't see it. Oh well... We'll carry on tomorrow! Have a great night!! :)
