How cute are these froggy directed drawings? They did a fabulous job. I think it's so important to continue building their fine motor skills. Mission accomplished with this activity! :)

Butterfly Release

We spent an hour releasing our butterflies in the flower garden. This is such a beautiful, serene and peaceful area at Roberts. They were very respectful of the landscaping. A lot of work has gone into this special spot.

My kids were a little sad to say bye to "their" butterfly. I'll never forget Jaiden releasing his butterfly...."LeBron James". I love their creativity. This was a great hands on learning experience enjoyed by all. :)

Frogs Vs. Toads

Today we learned the differences between frogs and toads! We added lots of big words to our vocabulary bank. Amphibian and vertebrate were two favs!!!

During shared writing, we made a t-chart graphic organizer to compare frogs and toads. I love seeing my kids use their sound up chart!! Avalea said...Bumpy ends like Bunny!! :)!!! Yay!!!

Jayden said....tree has a vowel pair like feet! Woohoo!

Great writing KinderPals!!!

Avalea rocked this center! Check out her mechanics! Capital letters and punctuation were on point!!

Belle did a great job fluently reading a non-fiction frog story. She did fabulous filling in the missing sight words. :)

I am so proud of Chelsea and the others that completed their reading log!! Woohoo!!! Hard work pays off! Keep it up!
