Hey, I got my seatbelt on!

Day 1 of Safety Town was so fun!!! The kids learned a lot! I did too.

I think their favorite part was learning about the law from Officer Minden.

During the afternoon, we focused on our planet, Earth. The kids were fascinated and very eager to learn different ways to protect it.

We made an anchor chart stating ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

I am sooooo proud of their writing!!!

Our secret reader was Jack's mom, Mrs. Amanda. The kids loved the books! Thanks for your time and dedication.

We had a very busy, productive day! I love my precious class to the moon and back!

It Works!!

My blog has been out of commission for weeks! I am so sorry! Hopefully it's fixed! I have way too many pictures to post so I decided to go with the last few days.

We used oil pastels and watercolors for a flower directed drawing activity. They turned out amazing!

We received our caterpillars on Friday. This is one of my favorite science activities. Each child received their own caterpillar and named it! I will share more on that tomorrow. :)

Avalea rocked her book today and did great reading the sound up chart!

We worked on 3d
Shapes again. We focused on the cube...8 vertices, 6 faces and it stacks and slides. We also made a list of real life cubes!

I have kids ready for vowel pairs and flipping the vowel sounds. :)!! Woohoo!!

We added this to their skills binder.

Austin did FABULOUS during word study! Look at all the words that end with -un!!!!

Sophie's mom was the secret reader! She read 2 great books and the kids loved her! Thanks so much!!

These 4 belong to the Kindergarten Girls Scout Troop. They shared their ladybugs with the class. We learned so much!

We reviewed "pl" words during chit chat. Notice I didn't write any of those words! Woohoo!!
