I am so glad to be back! I was so proud to receive these 2 fluency pages with 7 stars! Awesome reading!

Our all about apples unit officially kicked off today!

We learned 2 new apple songs, then broke the word "apple" a part and put it back together again. We added it to the word wall.

We read this apple book and discussed nonfiction and fiction. Tomorrow we will do an apple fact or opinion.

We learned how to label an apple.

We took the words down and put them back on the pocket chart to make a funny apple story. Then we wrote it on a response sheet.

A big thanks to Bhavya's mom! The headphones for the iPads helped a ton! Thanks!

Mrs. Bonds did great with this reading group.

Say Cheese!! Picture day is always fun. Don't forget to save me one.

Thank you for all of the sweet happys and love notes. You all make me feel so loved and soo appreciated. :)!

Total sweetness!

Yay!!

Love!!

These 2 cuties started the day off in the library! We love to read!

We highlighted F's and read our sentences for fluency.

We brainstormed words that start with the letter F. Look at all those beginning, middle and ending sounds. Makes this teacher so proud!

During phonics, we did a beginning sounds picture sort.

I love watching them "get their mouth ready" and transfer sounds!!

We practiced capital and lowercase Ff.

I am super proud of these readers.

These 2 did great in the math center. They practiced writing number words and numerals. The play-doh is seriously one of their favorites. This is great for building fine motor skills. They had to stamp the numbers in order from 0-10.

During math, we explored the different ways to make 5.

We made a 5 frame for our journal and showed our favorite combination.

I love my co-workers so much!! We have a lot of fun and genuinely love each other. We formed a running group last year and haven't stopped since. :)
