Field Trip Day was sooooo fun! The play was great and my kids loved it!

Back to work! We did a word sort with -og and -op words first thing to warm up our brains. This time they had to brainstorm, write and stick the word on the correct side with no help. They did great!!












We built -og words with magnetic letters for fluency.







We read this book and then answered the following prompt in our journals. I was able to make a text to self observation because my husband and I hiked Pinnacle Mountain yesterday. It was rough, but I made it to the top!






We did it!






This was their prompt. Peyton and Andrew did awesome!!

Happy Thursday! We had a great day in the classroom. We continued blending "bl" words. We "got our mouths ready" and wrote all the words we could think of that start with "bl".















We made made new words from the word READING.








We played another addition partner game. This time they had to find the sums of 7-10. They did great!





We reviewed sums of 10. They did great! Makes me such a proud teacher!



I have to brag on Christie! Her writing continues to get better and BETTER!

We warmed up with the blends chart first thing this morning. My kids are doing great "blending" consonants together.












We practiced "will" and "be" on the smart board for fluency.











Addison was the student teacher today. She did great fixing up the sentence.






Jon-Jon was on fire during reading group.






This group did great matching the math equation to the right sum.











How cute is this pic?! We love to read!








Math was lots of fun! We learned the different ways to make 10 using a cool new rainbow strategy. Have your child show you this fun way.











They made their own rainbow to show understanding.











They caught on pretty fast.







We also practiced sums of 10 with counters.


















We had a great day! Hope to see everyone at Larry's Pizza!
