Hi Parents! With your child being out of school the next few days, I have a fabulous website (desktop only) for them to use. Please go to:

User name: student  id number

Password: student id number

Click on either literacy or math. These skills are correlated with the kindergarten common core standards.

If you don’t know your child’s id number, text or email me and I’ll send it to you. I prefer texting. Also, I made refrigerator magnets this afternoon for you with their id on it. I’ll send it home on Monday. Please have them learn it by the end of the month. We use it in the dining room, classroom and library. THANKS!!

It was back to work today! We made a list of words that end with G.








We matched the picture to the correct word.








We "got our mouths ready" and wrote words that start and end with G.




















Check out our first division word problem in math!!! These kids did awesome!! The problem was: Grandma had 5 flowers. How many can she put in her red vase and how many in her blue vase?




Keithan figured out 2 in the red and 3 in the blue.




Griffin figured out 4 in the red and 1 in the blue.




We reviewed the star writer's checklist again. We're striving to be better writers every day.




Londyn did great with a pumpkin sticker story. I love how she started her story out with the subject and not the word I.

50's Day Sock Hop!
